Daedo successfully held the PSS Technicians Seminar on Wednesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 29, in Barcelona. The event brought together distributors, technicians, and course participants from around the world for two days dedicated to innovation and technological development in competitive taekwondo.
Following the strong interest generated by its last seminar in 2024, Daedo once again invited industry professionals to present the latest advancements and technologies related to its new Electronic Protection System (PSS), the Gen3. This reaffirms the company’s commitment to excellence and its leadership in official World Taekwondo competitions.
International Participation
The seminar hosted 43 attendees from 19 countries, including representatives from Taiwan, Croatia, Egypt, Japan, Poland, France, Italy, Mexico, Estonia, Greece, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Norway. These figures further consolidate the company’s international character and strong presence in the global taekwondo scene.

PSS Gen3 Innovations
During the sessions, Daedo presented numerous technological innovations. These improvements are expected to deliver a significant leap in reliability, accuracy, and comfort during competitions. The goal is to optimize the experience for athletes, referees, and organizers, ensuring an increasingly advanced and dependable system.
The seminar was led by Daedo Director Sam Park, alongside Jin Lee, head of the PSS department, and Andrew Pang, Daedo’s new Head of Engineering. Over the two days, attendees received specialized technical training and gained firsthand insight into the projects Daedo is developing to remain a global benchmark in taekwondo technology.

Official Certification
The program focused on the innovations and enhancements of the Daedo PSS Gen3, as well as the OVR (On-Venue Results) systems and their application in sporting events. This underscores the brand’s commitment to digitalization and the continuous improvement of competitions.
At the conclusion of the seminar, all participants received the official Daedo PSS certificate, qualifying them to operate the system at various international championships.
