    Barcelona, February 27 — At Daedo, we continue to consolidate our commitment to high-performance judo. We are proud to announce the addition of Eva Pérez to Team Daedo, further expanding our roster of sponsored athletes at the international elite level.

    The Spanish judoka, competing in the -48 kg category, has established herself as one of the athletes with the greatest potential on the world circuit. Her consistent progression and competitive spirit have positioned her among the emerging figures in European judo.

    In 2025, Eva achieved one of the most significant milestones of her career by becoming champion at the Zagreb Grand Prix, a result that confirmed her ability to compete at the highest level within the official calendar of the International Judo Federation.

    Damián Quintero, new Daedo Brand Ambassador

    After more than a decade of close collaboration between Daedo and one of the most prominent figures in national and international karate, the relationship enters a new stage. Damián Quintero, a legend of Spanish karate, will remain linked to the brand as an official ambassador following his recent retirement from competition.

     

    The Málaga-born athlete brought his outstanding sporting career to a close at the latest Karate World Championships held in Cairo, marking the end of a journey defined by success, consistency, and excellence. Olympic silver medalist at Tokyo 2020, multiple-time European champion, and an undisputed global reference in kata, Quintero leaves an indelible mark on the history of the sport.

    Throughout these years, Daedo has supported the athlete at every step of his journey, sharing values such as commitment, innovation, and passion for sport. This renewal as ambassador strengthens a relationship built on mutual trust and shared growth.

    Jairo Agenjo and Violeta Díaz join Team Daedo

    At Daedo, we continue to invest in young talent and high performance. That is why we are proud to announce the incorporation of Jairo Agenjo and Violeta Díaz to Team Daedo, becoming part of our group of sponsored athletes.

    Both athletes, considered two of the greatest prospects in Spanish and international taekwondo, will now wear Daedo’s official equipment in training sessions, training camps and competitions, as part of a collaboration agreement aimed at supporting their development at the highest level.

    Two key names for the future of taekwondo

    Violeta Díaz, Junior European Champion in the -46 kg category and two-time Spanish Absolute Champion, has established herself as one of the most promising figures in Spanish taekwondo. At just 17 years old, her international career and constant progression place her among the most outstanding athletes of her generation.

     

    On the other hand, Jairo Agenjo, Junior European Champion in the -54 kg category and recent Spanish Absolute Champion at the championship held in Torrevieja, stands out for his competitive consistency, sporting maturity and regular presence on international podiums, making him one of the key names in the future of Spanish taekwondo.
